Very well located 10 min from Nara station, this hotel is so charming between modern with a touch of traditional :) Offering two different breakfast western or traditional which were delicious. I appreciated the private onsen upstair with the view - the Yucatan that they provide and that you can were in the hotel for your comfort - the free guide that they offer for a visit of Nara, I spend the day with Michiko she was adorable it was amazing to know about the temples and the tradition and be able to share with local person make you feel in total immersion with the place !

This is a very large property with lots of space for a family. It’s Japanese style but there are also western style beds if you prefer. The owner is very kind and left many snacks and food for us to enjoy. She is an excellent communicator. The location is perfect - right next to Nara station

This gem may be located a bit further from the main attractions of Nara Park, but it is without a doubt worth the visit. Finally, a truly luxurious five-star hotel. However, what truly sets this hotel apart is the remarkable team of professionals who go above and beyond to make every guest feel welcome and taken care of. We had the pleasure of returning to Nara after 18 years, and the staff had prepared a thoughtful welcome note and even surprised us with a complimentary dessert dish for breakfast, accompanied by a note. The front desk staff were attentive to our every request, question, and need, always going the extra mile to ensure our satisfaction. They provided us with fantastic suggestions that were off the beaten path, beyond what one could find in travel guides, and their recommendations for local restaurants were top-notch. Additionally, we are immensely grateful that we were able to find refuge at the Marriott Nara during Typhoon Lan. Throughout the entire ordeal, we felt safe and well-cared for. Much recommended for an authentic Japanese house experience! The host is super nice. We felt at home just as we arrived. We were planning to eat out, but decided to order the set meals as the atmosphere felt so comfy. The fish tasted amazing! Not needing to go out for dinner is a nice perk after a long day of sightseeing.
