Everything about this hotel was exceptional. "Q" at the front desk was very helpful from check-in to check-out. All the staff were amazing, though. The beds were so comfortable I didn't want to get up in the morning, but of course, there is so much to see in Phnom Penh, you have to. The hotel's layout is wonderful, with private little courtyards and places to sit. The gardens give it a peaceful, oasis-like feeling. The pool area is fantastic. Not only is it a huge pool and very clean, but there are separate cabanas with their own steps into the pool. The pool bar will serve you anything from lattes to cold Tiger Beer. It was heavenly! We both had massages at the Senses Spa, and they were the best ones I've had on this trip. ( Been 4 months in SE Asia now, so I've had a few) The Sky Bar overlooks the Royal Palace and is a great place for Happy Hour. Outside the hotel, there are a few tuk-tuks that the Palace Gate authorizes. We were lucky to get Robert, #9.and used him whenever we needed a Tuk-Tuk. Not only was he a careful driver, but he was also able to find us things that we had been looking for and make suggestions for us. I would go back to Phnom Penh just to stay at this hotel again. It really was wonderful!

We were thrilled to arrive at this peaceful oasis right in the heart of Daun Penh. It’s incredible how the resort manages to create such a tranquil, bucolic atmosphere, making you forget you’re actually in bustling Phnom Penh. The lush trees and natural plants everywhere add to the calming vibe. The food was delicious, and my wife especially appreciated the wide range of authentic Khmer dishes on the menu — it made her feel truly welcomed and at home. The property is fresh, modern, and stylishly designed, combining comfort with natural beauty. I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of my stay — from the kind, courteous service and comfortable room to the gorgeous pool and satisfying breakfast. The staff were some of the most friendly and service-minded I have encountered in Southeast Asia. Their hospitality was exemplary and a real testament to the high standards of this upscale establishment. The pool area is spotless and beautifully integrated into a jungle-style lounge, making it a perfect retreat. If you’re seeking a quiet, comfortable, and luxurious stay, you’ve found the right place. This truly feels like a 5-star hotel experience, with clean rooms, delicious Asian and Western breakfast options, and genuinely warm staff. I wholeheartedly recommend Plantation Urban Resort & Spa!

Splendid facilities - they had everything we needed in the room, the property is new. There’s even an air dryer in the room for your clothes. They have two different pools and a jacuzzi so that was fantastic - we had lots of privacy at the rainforest pool. Location was pretty central too.

The apartment was perfect for our family of four (children aged 5 and 9). Clean and spotless, everything we needed, and excellent location with a beautiful view and within walking or tuk tuk distance for most things. The host is wonderful and the breakfast (not included) is amazing. Will definitely stay here next time we’re in Phnom Penh and will recommend to friends and family!

    after a disastrous holiday at Samnak Lounge / Indra Porak Residencies in Siem Reap, Phnom Penh Hotel 51 was a much needed calm and quiet relief with suitably comfortable bedding, great air con, quite a good breakfast selection with tasty in house food that we ordered everyday - great location, friendly staff, great housekeeping, good enough bathrooms with hot water and good pressure and even an Ok enough Gym, nice jacuzzi and pool with a wonderful view and a roof top setting - we will go back there again!

    Amazing hotel. Really liked the building with outdoor corridors and stairs between different areas, and decorative plants and lights as well at nighttime. Two great pools, especially loved the 'jungle pool' + a jacuzzi. Spacious room, clean and well-equipped. Great facilities and lounge areas throughout the hotel. Helpful and pleasant staff, offered to change rooms when we noticed cigarette smoke coming in through air con late on our last night.

    The spa area was lovely. Pool warm with coloured lights and sauna, steam room & hot tubs really relaxing. Also unlimited drinking water was available from the lobby.

    Always a great stay. Comfortable accomodation with well set out facilities. Great breakfast prepared fresh with generous portions. Good to really relax and enjoy the warm weather. Clean and spacious steam, sauna and jacuzzi. Note men only.
