Perfect place to stay near the airport if your flight arrives late. The manager is really helpful and friendly. They don't have restaurant (they are building one) but they can take you to a near places to eat. The room is big, clean and confortable. Everything you need. They are making improvements so it will be even better in the next few years.

The location is excellent, very close to the airport. The hotel looks modern, the beds were comfortable, the air conditioning and the fan both worked well, and the bathroom was very convenient. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety. The staff were very attentive, helpful, and friendly. Highly recommended if you need to spend a night near the airport.

I had a fantastic stay at this pet-friendly hotel near the airport! The staff were incredibly welcoming and made traveling with my small dog a breeze. The free airport transfer was super convenient, and the breakfast was delicious. My room was clean and comfortable. Excellent service all around – I'll definitely stay here again!

Eventhough the shuttle service didn't work out for some organisational reason I got reimbursed for the taxi that I eventually had to take because the option I booked included the shuttle service. The hosts are very friendly and fair. I did not have to ask for the compensation, I received apologies straight away for the error and the owner proactively offered to deduct the taxi costs from the room fee. Special thanks to Kan who is a very professional young man. I usually find in people and staff area for improvement but for the first time I don't know how he could improve his professional and interpersonal skills. Everything apart from the shuttle service fail in the beginning, which was only an error in communication between the owner and staff, everything apart from that was immaculate. The food is very nice, you get fresh water throughout the stay and you get proactively addressed every need you might have without any hesitation. The room was very clean, had everything you need for the stay. The area is very close to the airport, took only ten minutes. And the price for the stay is very reasonable, I would even say that the price is low for the level of professionalism and care you receive if you stay here as a guest. It's probably due to the overall market situation in Sri Lanka, high supply and probably rather low demand in tourism. But compared to Europe you receive double and triple the value of service for money. I believe it's not going to be like that for a long time because I'm pretty sure that the tourism will go up in the next couple of years if the political situation stays stable. Very impressed by this place and would definitely recommend to everyone who's looking for an apartment not far from the airport.

Dickman resort is a real gem in Negombo. Beautifully designed garden and amazing rooms. We stayed in the Mango suite which was absolutely the nicest we have stayed in in Sri Lanka. (all rooms have different themes) Biggest, most comfortable bed, coffee machine, large TV with movie channel, lovely shower and good wifi... The pool outside the door was lovely and the sunbeds comfortable. The staff were pleasant, knowledgeable and very service minded. The breakfast is not good. 100 m away was the beach promenade with all the hustle and bustle, but at the resort it was quiet and nice. We will choose this hotel more times.

I had a wonderful time staying at 3R Resort by Blue Bird in Negombo. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach, which made it super relaxing and convenient. The hotel itself is clean, peaceful, and well-maintained. One of the highlights for me was the swimming pool—it was refreshing and a great spot to unwind after a hot day. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. Breakfast was truly impressive! They offered a mix of Sri Lankan and Western dishes, and everything was fresh and tasty. From hoppers and curries to eggs and toast, there was something for everyone.
