Simple breakfast that gave you a kick start to the day. The location, extremely private and the views of Coronet Mountain were brilliant. Enjoy a wine whilst watching para-gliders drift around the mountains. Didn't realize how close it was to a championship golf course and the towns of Arrowtown and Queenstown were brilliant to visit.

The property is in a vineyard and most rooms oversee a nice grape + tree + lake view. I stayed at Aoraki suite which is very spacious, clean and comfortable. There is daily complimentary cheese board - minibar, chips and a bottle of rose are also complimentary. I tried the “Trust the Chef” dinner at the estate which is very good. Quality food plus reasonably priced wine pairing / wine menu. Breakfast was good - continental plus a la carte. Last but not least, at the retreat suite there is a very nice lobby, infinity pool and hot tub.

The location was scenic and peaceful. The gardens were stunning, so we enjoyed sitting outside and taking in the views. John was extremely accommodating. We had to change our booking dates at short notice, and somehow, he managed to make it all work with no stress for us.

We loved the setting, easy and safe parking, and the facilities provided in the lodge were all you could wish for. As well as having a spacious tastefully decorated private bedroom/lounge/bathroom (separate shower and huge bath), the extensive communal areas within in the lodge lodge provided several areas where you could relax in peace reading a book, watching TV or just soaking up the sun. These areas lead into an equally spacious and well appointed dining room / kitchen, fully equipped and stocked with all items found in your own homes kitchen drawers. The country-like location just on the outskirts of Queenstown was peaceful and, depending on where you were travelling, negated the queues of slow moving traffic found closer to Queenstown. Jennifer was a great hostess and added her own touch that made you feel welcome, e.g, chocolates on the bedside table, fresh flowers, etc.

It's a modern well appointed apartment with two bedrooms and attached bathrooms which our group found super handy. The hostess was very helpful and friendly. The place was spotlessly clean. It even had a washing machine and dryer. The shelves were well stocked with crockery cutlery, pots and pans, tea coffee and even a coffee maker. Highly recommend this apartment.

    The property was warm and welcoming when we arrived. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. The lounge room was cozy and comfortable. Loved the dinning room table, it was stunning and we ate all our meals at it. Spa pool was a lovely surprise and got plenty of use.

    The house has a combined kitchen, dining and lounge which were spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was better equipped than most. The main bedroom was spacious with good ensuite; the second bedroom was almost entirely taken up with the king bed; luckily the third bed was available to put our stuff. Second bathroom good. Internet access was very good. The property is quiet, private and located a short drive from Arrowtown CBD.

    We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in such a beautiful old home in the countryside. Being only 5 minutes from Arrowtown, it was a quick drive into town on a good road. It was so peaceful and quiet and our room was very spacious and well equipped. The bathroom was very clean and updated. The big king sized bed was super comfortable and we slept well. It was lovely to wake to see a few rabbits and the friendly sheep grazing in the paddock close by. It was such a relaxing stay. Thankyou.
