It's a lovely place to stay. The room is clean and spacious. The location is between Auckland and Rotorua that is suitable to stay one night to unwind and join the hobbiton movie set tour next day. The dinner and breakfast are yummy.

A cow feeding haven 20 minutes from Hobbits with everything you need. Cold water, milk, cereals, DVDs, fresh vegetables picked from the garden, magazines, countless pillows and blankets, a bed warmer, shampoo, conditioner, windows to open with insect screens. Even gluten free bread on request. We couldn't have been happier and the kids loved feeding the cow with carrots. I was fascinated that treadmills for horses exist!

In a word - excellent! Breakfast (cooked) was very nice and just the sustenance I needed for my upcoming busy day. The location is almost rural but still handy to town and felt fresh, clean and nicely quiet. The room and property were immaculate, like a show home almost but much more welcoming. Wayne and Mereana obviously put a lot of thought into the design and decor - simple but well executed. Like the towel rail is right next to the shower (don't often get that even in a five star hotel and I've stayed in a few)....and the towels had that luxurious feeling - so good I've had to go out and buy some for home! The room itself was spacious as was the bathroom (great shower). Good lighting (often don't get that in hotels), but soft bedside lights as well - perfect combination. Excellent bathroom lighting too (compared to you know what!). Bed & pillows were comfortable and I slept well (compared to some places!). Wayne and Mereana were very welcoming and I felt like we were old friends by the time I left - not intrusive - but there when you needed them. I felt more like a welcomed family member that some random guest - can't feel better than that.

Ann is a delightful and interested host. The Villa is lovely and quite comfortable. We loved the social and generous breakfast, the pool and spa and the beautiful gardens with interesting hideaways around every corner. It was lovely and quiet and just a short drive to town.

Boasting a hot tub, Conach House is situated in Cambridge. There is a private entrance at the bed and breakfast for the convenience of those who stay.

Exceptional stay from the beautiful grounds, plenty of out door seating, koi pond and hot tub to the immaculate and well appropriated room, kitchen and large bathroom, plus hostess Megan was superb with local recommendations, loved Sanctuary Mountain which we would not have known about. Being right across from Lake Karpiro for the International Dragon Boat Festival was the best!!! Also perfect if you have two couples as there were two separate rooms available.
