Beautiful cottage with a wonderful view. We got the double room in the house with private bathroom (not ensuite, but we didn’t mind). The room is tastefully decorated and even though it’s not big the space is well utilized. The bed is bigger than what it looks like on the photos. There’s also a nice balcony and air conditioning. Maria, the host, is a lovely sweet woman who gave us many good tips in the area. Be sure to go the Al Medas and O Burgo restaurants!

Best stay in Portugal so far on our Camino walk. Everything spotless and very comfortable. Friendly, helpful staff. Delicious restaurant for both dinner and breakfast. Lovely view of hotel grounds and valley. Most definitely stay again.

Loved everything about Villa Aurora … very comfortable bed & had a refreshing sleep. . Great view from top of turret up winding stairs . Secure parking for car . Staff very helpful always . Decor throughout was appropriate to the 100 ye old villa & exquisite pieces . Breakfast esp good & dining table beautiful again elegant surroundings .
