Probably the comfiest hotel bed we've ever slept in - the quality of the sheets, matress and pillows was incredible. we got a free upgrade to a suite, the room was enormous and beautiful, with a freestanding bathtub. Breakfast was delicious, the hotel design was very fun. Beautiful rooftop pool and bar. Staff very friendly and accomodating. Would love to go back!

The level of cleanliness was absolutely exceptional. The staff in all departments could not be more friendly and professional. The whole hotel really caters for true relaxation and comfort from the comfy beds to the huge heated indoor pool to the roof top hot tub overlooking the port, the perfect location to watch the cruise liners come in and out and watch the sun go down. This was also topped off with the most incredible spa treatment

Pool area was well maintained and there was never a problem getting sun loungers. Bedroom was so comfortable and spacious. Bathroom was well equipped with lovely Ritual products provided.

    Excellent location. Fabulous balcony with continual interesting things to look at. Comfortable furniture inside and out. Spacious apartment with comfortable beds, ensuite bathrooms and air conditioning in the bedrooms. A well equipped kitchen with easy to use hob, oven and microwave. We didn’t expect a hot tub. This was a fabulous addition.

    Superb location. Great sense of space and airiness. Wonderful decor , beautiful flooring throughout with no high steps. Choice of places to relax as there were lots of comfortable chairs and sunloungers . Great variety of food and beverages available for breakfast.

    Fantastic pools to swim, outdoor and indoor, also spa, jacuzzis, sauna, steam. Very good location, relatively close to city center. Very quiet, no road traffic noise - this is very rare in Funchal! Nice restaurants with various food options. VEry friendly reception and staff - they allowed us to stay in the pool and spa even after checkout, on the last day! Beautiful garden, plans, palm trees, and grass - nice sunbeds around the two pools. Very relaxing place. Strongly recommended!
