Great very remote location with a spectacular view of the alqueva lake. Comfortable bed and a very nice room. Friendly and very helpful staff. From check in to check out everything was great! We particularly loved the dogs (Estrella!) and the very quiet pool area. If you want to relax in the middle of nowhere this is the place to be!

Super friendly staff, exemplary cleanliness, very nice swimming pool open 24 hours, good Wi-Fi, terrace in the room asking for a few minutes of contemplation of the unique night sky in Alqueva. Very good breakfast and the staff don't miss anything. It has a common area that allows you to make barbecue, or heat food in a microwave. Stunning location. We were lucky to have one clear sunset as it rained most of the time we were there. Perfect spot just down the road from the castle. Communication with hosts was excellent.

This little cottage is in the most beautiful location. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The village is spectacular. We felt so privileged to be able to ‘live’ in such a special place for a few days. The terrace and the views are wonderful. Lots of lovely restaurants in the village. The local lake beach is fab with a great restaurant and lots of water activities. The communication from the hosts was friendly and responsive. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
