How can you summarise the perfect stay?! From the moment we arrived at Ricardo’s beautiful home we felt completely relaxed. Ricardo made us feel incredibly welcome, he clearly loves hosting guests and this shows in each of the lovely little touches he added to our stay, it was beyond hotel quality. The house itself is its own special paradise, with a beautiful pool area and well maintained gardens surrounding. The delicious breakfast provided each day even included fruit and vegetables from his organic garden. Our advice would be to cut your time in Lisbon in half and instead stay twice as long at Ricardo’s and see more of Sintra - you won’t regret it. We look forward to coming back here.

This is the most beautiful and peaceful place to stay. The infinity pool is just perfect with amazing views to the coast. Our room was really comfortable and felt very private. Breakfast was excellent. Easy stroll to the village where there are several good restaurants.

Stunning villa. Exceptional interior. Let me explain: I booked CDF just because of the location and the affordable price. I was taken aback by the standard it offers. A very positive surprise. The historic building and furnishings were beautiful and inviting. The staff were very attentive and friendly. They were also able to provide information about the town and area that is not easily found because most of the staff live nearby but also have been working for the hotel for decades. The room was magical, with a balcony overlooking the ravine and at least 2 castles. The experience was surreal.

The place and the atention were amazing! The bedroom was really big, clean and comfortable, the bed amazing for a restful sleep. And also has a wonderful view and could hear the birds singing in the morning. The location also idyllic, very green and quiet in the surroundings, but close to the city center, Quinta De La Regeira and near the park that let you to the hiking part of the Palacio da Pehna. Will reserve here every time I visit Sintra!
