Had a great stay at the Joleen Safari Park Hotel. The Owner and staff are very professional and helpful in this new small hotel, which is well maintained and peaceful.There was always staff there 24 hours a day if you needed anything. I had some amazing local dishes for dinner but they would make what you like. The beaches are close by, beautiful, clean and empty , except for a for local fisherman. I had a few nice surf sessions and arranged though the hotel a cheap taxi and the driver was super nice and helpful who got me to all the best beaches. I stayed on for twice as long.

Great Location Good Value Comfortable bedroom Good swimming pool for apartment blocks to share I’m a solo backpack traveller so I am use to sharing in Hostle type places, so I had no issues at all, this was like a luxury hostel apartment with excellent private bedrooms

    The room is quite spacious with a comfy bed and tasteful decoration and the bathroom is very clean and modern (just attention: the description of the different rooms on booking are all from the executive suite; the deluxe and superior rooms don't have the hot tub mentioned in their description!). The breakfast is really good and offers a great variety of continental, indian and african food. Also the location is good if you want to take the ferry to Zanzibar as it is only a short walk to the port.

    The facilities are brilliant - The rooms are ginormous! The bathroom had a jacuzzi which i wish i could use but the hot weather makes it not ideal to sit in a warm jacuzzi bath! The bed and pillows were so comfy. The receptionists were also welcoming. What i loved best was the breakfast. So much variety. Thank you. The bonus of the hotel location is within a short walking distance to where Zanzibar-bound ferries are.
