Where to begin? The host was so cool. He helped us settle and even took us into town to get a decent coffee. He showed us how the buses run. Really friendly and a nice guy as well. The place is more like a homestay and the area is, apart from loud dogs, friendly. Perhaps the biggest plus is the monastery, which can be seen from the balcony. This is no ordinary monastery. Thich Naht Hahn was a master here. It is unspoiled and free of tourists. This was our best accommodation on our travels. By far.

Everything about this property was amazing. Firstly we were given an upgrade which gave us the most stunning view of the bay in all its beauty. The kindness, helpfulness and concern of the staff is unmatched. Breakfast was superb, even tho we are vegetarians, plenty of dishes, staff went out of their way, even made us a plate of vegetarian sushi for breakfast, wonderful tasty capers and kimchi which we have not had for breakfast in years. The property is right on the bay foreshore, so special being able to walk along the promenade. The main pool area where the sauna and steamroom is located, with hot & cold pools is very much worth the visit.

This was the best location we stayed at during our stay in Vietnam. A green Oasis indeed. Everything was tidy, curated to the last detail, the staff was wonderful and the food delicious. We very much enjoyed the pool and the spacious garden. We were lucky enough to get there off season so we enjoyed a lot of peace and a stunning, large bedroom. We finally extended our stay there, because we didn't wanna leave too early. Highly recommend!
