FANTASTIC! All over my travels, this was the best place I have ever stayed at. Apart from availability of all necessary facilities themselves, like private kitchenette with the fridge, A/C, large comfortable beds, parking, pool, hot tube, free-service bar, etc. the Log Cabin Lodge proposes an amazing environment and atmosphere. Rooms and outdoor area have a beautiful view on a calm garden and vineyards, so you can enjoy it while being in a hot tub (amazing one!) or pool, or while having a drink at the terrasse. The surroundings are calm, and you feel relaxed here. I liked a lot the living/lounge area - it was super cozy, especially during the evening when the fireplace is on. Those who constructed this area have a nice taste and thought about the comfort of guests. I also had diner there - it was delicious, and nice garden view with the sunset and then night sky make it even more plesant. It's also worth noting that the furniture, floor, walls, equipment - all is fresh and does not require renovation, unlike in many other tourist accomodations I saw in South Africa. May be it's not the very first factor tourists pay attention to, but still, it does add value to the overall stay experience. I regret that I spent few time there. If I could only change my travel plan, I would do it in a way to spend more nights here instead of staying near Cape Town. So it was a perfect experience at the Log Cabin Lodge, and I do recommend you to stay here.

    This cabin provides excellent detached studio accommodation with a private deck hot tub and small pool.The room had all the facilities, washing machine,dishwasher,cooking facilities and microwave and the bathroom was lovely. The property itself has beautiful views and the shared areas are very nice spaces to be in.

    What a beautiful location! The view to the mountains and the vineyards is breathtaking! The atmosphere in the hotel is absolutely peaceful, relaxing and romantic. We’ve stayed in the Mountain View executive suites with a private hot tub. The room was spacious, clean, richly decorated. Amazing bathroom! The bed was very comfortable as well. The breakfast was splendid, lots of fruits, cheese, cold cuts and menu options : very nice!
