The accommodation offers a hot tub. Helpful staff. The people were so kind and helpful. We asked so many questions about different activities and getting to places and they always gave detailed information. We were given two separate rooms because there was a problem with what we booked and they let us check in very early with no hassle. Very close to Tianmen mountain Line A entrance and 72 wonder towers!

Free shuttle between the property and the west gate is provided and it takes 5 minutes' car journey per run. The property covers 10,000 square metres and owns 40 guest rooms scattered in 5 buildings. Each room features different room themes and mountain or garden views.

Every guest room comes with air conditioning and is fitted with an electric kettle and a dining area with dining table. The private bathroom has shower facilities, free toiletries and hairdryer. Staying in No.5 Lodge was a great experience for us. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They did all possible for our comfort staying. Our room was very clean and cozy and in fact turned out to be better than in the photos. The view from the terrace was breathtaking. We were impressed with the atmosphere of hospitality and cordiality of the place. Special thanks to the hotel manager Frankie. He did all possible to make us feel at home and greatly helped us with all tickets to the National park, routes around and other our travel arrangements. Each member of the hotel team tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Free transfer to the park and back upon request was a nice bonus to the stating. We also liked very much the hotel restaurant. The choice and quality were at high level. After dinner we enjoyed some wine at bar relaxing after long walks. If you get tired from tracking you can stay for a master class or for a tea ceremony. We opted for the latter and enjoyed the traditional Chinese tea made by the very interesting and charismatic tea master. She explained some traditions and showed how to prepare different sorts of tea. Of course we bought some to try to repeat at home :) And if you show sincere interest maybe you will get a nice cat ;)

The FengHuang Kasen Waterloom Keep's grounds are lovely and breakfast was fantastic. The real standout was their service: arranged a hotel car to collect us from the station and provided dedicated transfers to the local sights. Staff called right after booking to organise our travel and even helped plan our itinerary - extremely professional and helpful. Proper job, highly recommend!

We stayed in the King Room (or King Deluxe Room — they look the same online) and the room was big, spotless, cozy, had a huge bed, and a beautiful view overlooking the river — a perfect place to relax after exploring the Zhangjiajie area. Our host Xiao Zhang and her partner were absolutely amazing — Xiao Zhang was so kind, attentive, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Although we mostly communicated through a translator app, we had great conversations with her about China, Australia, and our lives. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and was quick to respond to us on WeChat if we had questions when out and about. She helped us plan our days at Zhangjiajie National Park and Tianmen Mountain, and alleviated our stress by purchasing our tickets for us at both locations, giving us advice and local tips that made our visits much smoother. The breakfast each morning was delicious and thoughtfully prepared by her and her partner. The accommodation also offers free use of the washing machines, detergent, and dryer (machines are washer/dryer combos), which was such a convenient bonus after a few days of hiking. We truly felt at home here and are so grateful for the warm hospitality. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Zhangjiajie — you will be well taken care of!
