We were very happy with our choice. The breakfasts were terrific with cereal, yogurt, eggs (scrambled or fried), sausage, pancakes etc were great. The resort is extremely well maintained and clean. The pool and kids pool were very clean and probably 89°F during our stay (end of February). The Tiki Bar is staffed with great guys who are happy to help. They offer adult beverages and kids drinks along with some really great lunch and dinner options. The only complaint is around the policy around the drinks at the pool. I completely understand not having any glass around the pool but there is nothing better than relaxing in the pool with your drink on the edge of the pool especially when the Tiki Bar provides the drinks in glass. Might suggest a review? The accommodations were also very nice with plenty of hot water. The bed was comfortable and the room was made up daily with fresh towels for the bathroom and the pool. The location was also an easy walk to Playa Manzanillo. Are there resorts that you could pay double or triple the price? I am sure there are but why???? This resort satisfied all our needs and when looking at the hit to the bank account it was a fantastic choice. Don't be fooled by others, you will NOT be disappointed here

Offering 1 bedroom, this spacious air-conditioned apartment features 1 bathroom with a bath, a shower and a hair dryer. Everything was perfect. We were well taken care of from the moment, we arrived to La Pavona, as the boat company knew about our arrival and had our names. The accomodation even arranged our transfer to Cahuita (boat and taxi), which worked out well. The apartment exeeded every expectation. Huge open space, wonderful views to Tortuguero canal with sliding doors/windows to let the outside atmosphere in. The whole space was very clean, warm shower, safe, garderobe for clothes, dining an writing table, full sized fridge, double airconditioning, and even a bathtube with view. The bed was very comfortable, the linen was good quality. In town everything was in walking distance, and the whole area was astonishing. If we ever return to Costa Rica, we would definitely stay here again.

Amazing location and view! clean house, beautiful paintings! In our stay in Costa Rica we visited 5 different rooms/properties in different locations! Los Cielos del Caribe was my favorite and I was very sad when we left! the balcony on the top floor was the best and we were spending our nights there admiring the view! we are definitely going back and I recommend it if you visit Cahuita!

We got to stay in the upper unit where we could watch monkeys just a few meters away, the room ia very spacious as is the bathroom, mosquito nets everywhere, breakfast was delicious and the host is very lovely and helpful. 5min to the beach and they also have bicycles for use. Definitely recommend!

Beautifully decorated and equipped cabaña with good shower ( hot/cold) and fridge. Very comfy. The balcony ( 2 sides) is just fantastic - tranquil setting, perfect for relaxing or birdwatching. On top the best typical breakfast of my several weeks CR trip. Karen is very attentive and tries to make the stay a memorable one. For the Guapiles area certainly the best choice.
