We loved the private bathroom and the cute little pod. Yeah it’s small but there’s enough storage space for it to be ok. There are lots of lovely places to sit and chill out. The barman is especially great - super friendly and helpful and made excellent cocktails. The reception staff were so helpful and kind.

Excellent accommodation set off the road in beautiful grounds amongst tropical trees, plants and the amazing howler monkeys. It was so much better than I expected and also close to the small town within walking distance via a pathway, about 10 minutes walk. I think we saw more wildlife in this area than other places we visited such as Fortuna which is on the recommended tourist trial. You feel like you are in your own little tropical rain forest and rooms are not overlooked . All facilities around the pool are also great.

One of the big reasons we went with this hotel was the availability of the free bikes- which unfortunately kept breaking down. But they went out of their way to fix them for us. We also appreciate the do it-yourself laundry available, and the clean pool to cool off in, during the late afternoon when it’s really hot. The air conditioning worked really well and the location is great; as it is not in the middle of the downtown hustle and bustle. Very close to the national park - we biked there three times! Nice restaurant - Reggae’s - very close. Easy access to stretch of black sand beach that was not full of tourists. We spotted all kinds of tropical birds in the property and a sloth right across the street.

The owners, a lovely french couple, were very welcoming and helpful. The facility is top - there is a kitchen for the guests, a pool and even a grill.

The owners are amazing people. They couldn't do enough for us.

Already the drive from the gate to the reception through stunning nature was nice (you probably need a 4x4). The bungalows, pool & hot tub, and small walkways are very nice and have a calming "rainforest vibe". The view from the breakfast area is fantastic. Very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.

Guests can enjoy a meal on an outdoor dining area while overlooking the garden views. The accommodation is non-smoking. We had the whole house to ourselves. The property it is on is quiet, well landscaped, private and safe. The host was very accomodating, kind and helpful. Location was very good. The host recommended a great restaurant that we enjoyed after a long drive.
