I booked only one night on our way from Uvita to Monteverde due to a misscalculation, and already at the reception I was feeling sorry that we were staying just one night. The welcome was so hospitable and warm, the welcome drink was the cherry on top. Our room was spacious and beautiful, stylish decor, facing the jungle as I had hoped, cause we are light sleepers. They have a lovely pool area over looking the ocean, there is also a bar and a very nice restaurant, which both close at 10pm, so there will be no noise coming to the room from there. Be sure to try the chicken dish and mango monkey margarita! All the staff were kind, attentive and smiling. I hope we can return to this place, it was so relaxing. No need to leave the property at all, but there is a small town center a few kilometers to the south with a grocery store and a few restaurants, if you want to.

I was one of the first guests at this newly refurbished hotel. Stephan and his team were very helpful at check in with a tour of the beautiful property. The room was large, nicely furnished and clean. The hot tub is spectacular and is a nice community space that allowed me to get to know some of the other guests that weekend. Stephan is a Chef and the breakfast buffet was amazing. He also offered to prepare items that weren't on the buffet upon request.

It was the best hotel that I have ever been. It was the best part of our trip. It was very clean, and had all the equipment and perfect products for breakfast. Whoever visits Monteverde should go to this hotel.

Botanika Osa Peninsula, Curio Collection By Hilton offers a hot tub. A beautiful property, right in the jungle with outstanding rooms and facilities. The location was superb - right next to the airstrip and an easy walk into Puerto Jiménez. We saw and heard so much wildlife and went on a spectacular night hike with Osa Wild. The pool area was great and the trails around the grounds were also wonderful. Food and drink was quite expensive, but we could cater for ourselves when we wanted to as we had kitchen facilities in our room.

I had a little kitchenette with all the necessary utensils and used it for some snack preparation. You can easily order food from some nearby restaurants and they'll bring it to your door. I also had the hotel breakfast delivered to my room, and it was so nice to have a warm and fresh breakfast that I didn't have to prepare. The staff were great and accommodated me showing up a little early and let me into my room. I was given a pipa upon arrival and that was a nice and unexpected treat. Everything is clean and as you'd expect! I stayed in the wooden house and I'll most certainly return.
