The hotel has a hot tub, room service and free WiFi throughout the property. Everything was great! Room was big, super clean and even smelled awesome. The staff was extremely friendly! You can chill by the pool and order drinks at the pool bar. The food in the restaurant and also the breakfast is very delicious.

Stephen the owner made us feel so welcome and at home, always made sure if we needed anything he was there to help. Breakfast had a great selection of fresh and cooked food. He’s created a great space where you can mingle with other guests in communal areas if you like which made it a lot of fun. Room was big and comfortable and very clean. Great location with private parking and wifi.

An oven, a microwave and toaster are also offered, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. At the country house, units are fitted with bed linen and towels. We loved our Tiny House, hidden away under the trees. The architecture is beautiful and the house has everything you could need to make the stay confortable. The little gifts left for us made us feel especially welcome. The jacuzzi, the fire place, the sports equipment… but most importantly the luxuriant plants, birds, butterflies surrounding us were magical! The viewing deck of the Amalu property allowed us to admire the scenery further. The welcome was warm, our questions answered quickly and the recommendations highly appreciated (notably Kapi Kapi restaurant and the nature walks guided by George Junior).

At the lodge guests are welcome to take advantage of a hot tub. Highly recommend this ''Little escape". Mike is a great host, super responsive and kind. The apartment is comfortable and stylish. Swimming pool is relaxing. We travelled with our baby and dog : it took us no time to fully embrace the lifestyle of little escape / Santa Teresa. Go for it!

Loads of beautiful plants and nature on the ground of the property. This was our favourite place to stay in Costa Rica!!
