Overlooking West Sands Beach and the Links Golf Course, Old Course Hotel features a luxury spa and award-winning restaurant. Set in a magnificent building, the hotel has scenic views and elegant rooms. Ideally located by the 17th fairway of the Old Course. The rooms were extremely plush and comfortable and the amenities of the hotel were exceptional. The only thing it lacks is a dry room which we expected given the hotel plays host to golfers and the weather can be very wet.

The holiday home consists of 1 bedroom, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen with a toaster and a coffee machine, and 1 bathroom with a hot tub and a hair dryer. Guests can take in the views of the mountain from the balcony, which also has outdoor furniture. There is also a seating area and a fireplace. This was just wonderful, I’d have stayed longer had it been available. Such a cutely furnished tiny house. The lovely hosts are always trying to improve these already excellent cabins by adding more thoughtful details. I loved the skylight above the bed. Best light for reading. Drift off to sleep with the stars twinkling above you. Great Deeside walks just outside the front door. Perfect cosy place for two; I’d say fitting four in here might get a little cramped, especially if you’re going to leave 4 people’s luggage lying around randomly. Hot tub a nice feature. One commenter complained about not being able to use it in the rain, which, frankly, is weird. When you’re immersed in hot water, the rain can’t touch you. The hosts were extremely friendly, and, in my case, literally went that extra mile! Big thank you to Karl, Bess, and Stacey!

The owner was very helpful as well. Excellent for a big family. Value for money.

Our stay at this apartment was absolutely incredible – 10/10! The place was spotless, comfortable, and had a wonderfully homely feel. The views were breathtaking, truly adding to the experience. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. It was the perfect weekend getaway, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for anything better. The hot tub was perfect even in the beautiful rain 🤗 We will definitely be back! Highly recommended!
