The property is relatively new and modern. Very spacious and has a hot tub filled with warm water ready upon your arrival. Nice little frills like chocolate and bathrobes/slippers. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Easy self check-in, quiet and relaxed vibe. Lots of nice and very clean bathrooms, a well-equipped kitchen and lots of dining space.
Spacious, clean, comfortable, brilliant hot tub, bathrobes, kitchen set up, comfortable beds
Really nice, clean and cozy cottage with well equipped kitchen. The private hot tub which is heated with geothermal hot water was super nice and relaxing. Location is remote, but in good distance to several sights like Godafoss, Myvatn lake and natur bath and many more.
Great area, large room, huge kitchen, and plenty of space for relaxation and socializing. Everything is clean, there are paper towels in the bathroom and toilet, and a wonderful atmosphere! We will definitely stay again.
Our best location in Iceland. We can highlight location by the sea with a charming sunsets, stylish wooden sail rooms with romantic views, great shared lounge (with huge window) and kitchen, wash and dry machines (even with a powder), small present by owner (postcard), you can buy here wine, beer (selfservice) and we were able to see the aurora lights for two nights. Add close to Husavik location (Whale watching, hot spa bath) and you have the top of tops here. 😉 Great owner Martin. Hope we come here again.
The hotel is run by a family. The owner and his wife were very nice. The reception, breakfast room and "reading" corner were very cosy. They would have offered tours. There was a hot tub (I think for free) which we didn't use due to late arrival. Rooms were in bungalow style with much space. Bathroom was very good.
We stayed here for 4 nights with 2 adults and 1 baby. A baby bed and high chair was provided by the hotel next to the cabins. The cabin is made entirely out of wood, this is very cosy. Hot tub is very nice to relax. You can use all the facilities of the hotel for free (laundry room with washer & dryer, lounge area, coffee, kayak,...)
Fabulous location in a lesser visited part of Iceland. Comfortable room and shared spaces, fully equipped kitchen for you to use although we enjoyed being pampered to freshly made pancakes and homemade jams for breakfast. Cosy terrace to enjoy the midnight sun or the jacuzzi—just follow the pipe to walk from the house to the hot spring that fills it! Nice, welcoming host, happy to share about life in the area, a welcome change from the anonymous accommodation you find elsewhere.
