Also we loved the little orangery where you can sit and have a snack and glance outside at the gorgeous Icelandic scenery. Should also be great for seeing the aurora. The hotel staff is great and provide you with excellent tips for your travels (we got a great tip on where to purchase real quality wool garments, thanks again!)

Beautiful surroundings with a great view of the mountains and the lake. Nice place to spend a peaceful vacation. Rooms are excellent , large and comfortable. Equipped with all necessary amenities you need. Great view from the room and the terrace. Very friendly and welcoming hosts. They provide all the necessary practical information required for your trip. A great place to observe the northern lights on clear winter nights. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Our room was comfortable with a great view. The hot tub overlooking the mountains was a perfect place to relax. But what really stood out was our dining experience! The cocktails and the dinner were incredible, beyond expectations.
