From the moment we arrived, we felt like "Gods" we were treated extremely well, the hotel is stunning, the rooms are amazing. We had a junior suite with a lake view, it was magical. The food was amazing we were on a B&B rate and the breakfast had a great choice. We had dinner there on two nights and again, the food and service were amazing. We took a few "pool" days during our week and ate at the poolside restaurant and once again it was superb.

The units in the apartment complex are equipped with air conditioning, a seating area, a flat-screen TV with streaming services, a kitchen, a dining area, a safety deposit box and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower, a hair dryer and free toiletries. A dishwasher, an oven and microwave are also provided, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. At the apartment complex, every unit has bed linen and towels. The location is amazing with wonderful lake views in a quiet area perched above the town. The units are modern and well appointed with an open sleeping loft and nice outdoor space. Breakfast is not provided except for coffee, however we made good use of the nicely appointed kitchen to prepare a number of meals. The town center of Stresa is a few minutes walk down the hill with a few more minutes coming up the hill. With only 4 units it is a great spot. Parking is included.

Free WiFi is available throughout the property and private parking is available on site. The apartment offers a pool with a view with a fence, as well as a hot tub and full-day security. Maccagno is a small, friendly village with ample bars and restaurants. Sole and Lago is beautiful. Davide built and designed the apartments to have privacy and to contain everything one needs in a modern, efficient living space; you get the WOW factor upon entering the apartment…then comes the view - absolutely gorgeous! Also, Davide is always available to assist with you anything you may need. My wife and I had a month’s stay and were extremely pleased with Davide, the apartment and Maccagno!

The air-conditioned accommodation is 3.7 km from Borromean Islands, and guests can benefit from on-site private parking and complimentary WiFi. The apartment has a hot tub and a lift. Probably the best rental apartment we have ever been to. Clean and nice on a fantastic quiet location in Baveno.

The hotel is excellent — clean, comfortable, and very well located. Perfect base for exploring the Borromean Islands, the train station just a short walk away. There's also a great supermarket right next door. The room had everything we needed, including all the essential appliances. The host was extremely friendly and welcoming. Really nicely located, well maintained property. Rooms are spacious, views are amazing, just outside the town of Mergozzo but close enough (10 min walk). Super friendly staff, nothing to dislike!

B&B Il Folletto del Lago is situated in Stresa and has a private pool and mountain views. The property features lake and garden views, and is 4 km from Borromean Islands. The accommodation features a hot tub, free WiFi throughout the property and family rooms. Although getting there from Stresa requires a winding road into the mountains, the location and the view are well worth it. Both the apartment and the surroundings are beautifully maintained and perfectly suited for a cozy stay. The hosts are exceptionally welcoming, helpful, and very kind. The breakfast is wonderful. The experience exceeded our expectations and it's a place you'd definitely want to return to.
