Where do I begin to describe paradise? I am so glad I booked into Leopard Reach as my base for the Yala National Park because I had a truly unforgettable taste of luxury in the jungle. I loved it so much, I stayed two nights. This is a truly special place, with only a few tent-lodges. In fact, I was the only guest on the property, and was treated like a queen. The interior of my room was top quality, with all amenities. And the private mini pool on the terrace was extremely welcome. On both nights I had an exceptional dinner; the first night consisted of a Sri Lankan curry with so many lovely dishes, and the second was an al fresco BBQ, prepared just for me. Breakfast was served on my private terrace. I cannot speak highly enough of Fonseka, the General Manager (the quintessential host) and his trusty team of Randika (what a great guy), Lakruwan (who makes the place run like clockwork) and Kasun (the Chef). Amazing location as the property was in beach front, with a little gate giving access to the beach. Due to being low season we are the only guest but the quality of the stay was not impacted, and the host was amazing. Swimming pool is modern and it was clear even if it was just for us. The room was clean , spacious and air conditioning was powerful. We recommend the local breakfast with sea view. Lunch and dinner was not possible during our stay but host recommended us 'Priya Moon Cafe and Seafood Restaurant' located 500m away and it was so good we came back during the second night.

Sometimes we were even invited for tea and srilankan sweets! We liked to watch all the different animals from the balkony! There are several restaurants just around the corner which have amazing local food and the prettiest beach is just down the road! Apart from that the price was super fair. The room and all the facilities were so comfortable. Room was a bit small but enough to rest, bathroom was enormous and probably the best I've seen in Sri Lanka. The host was very attentive, he welcomed us with fruit from his own garden - lovely!

A baby safety gate is also available at the accommodation, while guests can also relax in the garden. We had a wonderful 2-night stay here. The villa was spotless and comfortable. The location was peaceful yet still convenient for nearby sights. Highly recommended for a relaxing family gateway.
