Superb place, and the best homestay we stayed at. The hosts were very humble and kind. The place was only 1 km away from the bus stand, however, was very calm and peaceful. Separate access, private kitchen area, spacious room, and the balcony area was nice. Almost everything, felt like home because of the warm welcome by the hosts. Thank you Pearl's homestay.

The relaxed atmosphere of a 1935 planters' bungalow. Amila (Residence Manager) was very professional and responsive. The guided tour of the tea plantation by very informative Mr Das, his tea tasting session and expert photography skills, are memorable experiences. We experienced delightful company of Mr Clifford De Silva, an expert guitarist and performer who happened to be staying at the same time and who delightfully provided rocking live entertainment on the two evenings we stayed.

Good location/climate. Peaceful and relaxing, surrounded by bird sounds. Comfortable old tea estate guest house. Lush garden. Excellent staff Moorthy and Dino (cook) who took care of us. Longer and shorter walks from the property, need to be able to manage hills. Transportation can be organised if required.

Very friendly and helpful staff, very spacious room which was clean and with a nice bathroom. The food in the restaurant was superb and very authentic Sri Lanka cuisine. The waiters where extremly friendly. Very nice garden and swimming pool.
