Zarela was super helpful during our stay. We were able to organize laundry through her, we ate at the restaurant twice, and the beds were super comfy. Water was hot, had good outdoor space, and was a great way to relax for a day after our trek.

the rooms were neat, big' a lot of clapboard space, very clean, lovely bathroom with glass doors (and not curtains) a lot of place to out things in the bathroom. nice big white towls. the rooms are nicer than in the pictures. owners very nice and helpfull. the hotel is situates in a very quiet ally. and very central. no street noise.

Beautiful view of the cityscape and the backdrop of the lush Andean mountains. An easy 5 minute walk downtown. Spacious room, with a huge comfortable bed, a balcony and a bathroom with all desired ammenities. The staff was very polite, friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were delicious. Also, the place was fantastic value for money.

Just great. If you’re looking for a place to relax after a long day of hiking, this is perfect. Clean rooms & bathrooms. Great breakfast. They prepared us a breakfast box when we were leaving early for a hike, which was very nice. Also it’s very convenient that the Akilpo agency is located at the hotel. They can help you planning your hiking our mountaineering trip or arrange transport / taxis to the trailheads. Highly recommended!

Really friendly hostel - kind of felt like home. Chris and Marta are lovely and incredibly helpful. Chris in particular has loads of local knowledge for hiking, mountaineering, climbing, also really helpful advice about medical centers when I damaged my knee. I had both a dorm room and a private and both were comfy. Hot showers and spacious bathroom in both the shared and private.

This place is the best in Peru! When I arrived early morning my room was ready and I could check-in right away. The guys who run this place are amazing, they help you with anything. I did the Panorama hike which only they offer, as well as some other hikes and they arranged just the transport and explained how to do the hike independently. Besides that the room and bathroom are spacious, the shower is hot, the beds are super comfy and the breakfast is great. Thanks for the fun and good times Esteban, Benji and Leo!

Lovely shared spaces, very helpful, friendly and relaxed owner who makes you feel at home. Aldo is involved in the city's whereabouts and all it has to offer for hikers, mountaineers, etc.

good hostel vibe with a spacious shared kitchen and terrace with Mountain View. very nice and different breakfast cooked every morning. spacious room with private bathroom, run by family who is very helpful and friendly, there are all the infos and possibility to book tours direct from the hostel as we did. the hostel is about 10/20 min (uphill) from markets and city centre and has lots of restaurants (cheap and tasty menú) in the same street.
