I was contacted at the arrival day via the receptionist and agreed on when we arrive to the property, and got there the keys seamlessly via a reception desk. Staff was very kind and friendly, shown everything, introduced all need to know, where are wood for the grill, etc. The two apartments were clean, fully equipped, comfortable. 4 apartments had an assigned wellness building with infra sauna, jacuzzi. The garden is well maintained, was a perfect spot for family and friends getaway. oh, almost forgot, excellent restaurants in the nearby!

Set in a Renaissance mansion from the 16th century, Chateau Appony is quietly situated in Oponice, 20 km away from Nitra. It offers free access to the wellness area with a pool, hot tub and 3 different saunas. Very nice location, great park. Not much to do in the town, but the hotel had everything needed

An outdoor pool is also available in the summer months. The building is unique and beautiful. The food was great, and staff was exceptionally kind. My only regret is not staying longer!

To top this all off, there is an amazing wellness centre located underneath the hotel that allows you to unwind in the evenings and a fantastic Hungarian restaurant bolted onto the same property, you couldn’t wish for more, a dream for the weary business traveller. In realtion to the breakfast, it's mainly a continental breakfast with a large range of meats/cheeses/cereal. The self-serve hot breakfast normally has 3 options, eggs, bacon or European sausage (spicy) and beans. Toast is available along with a automated coffee machine. There is always two lovely staff to assist if you need help, additional items, etc...
