The units feature a wardrobe. I had a great time at Meritel Hanoi! I was in Vietnam for two weeks and stayed there on 3 separate occasions. The first one, I had just arrived in Hanoi as a solo traveller. Hanoi is busy and can be overwhelming but the team at Meritel gave me a warm welcome, helpful suggestions on where to eat, shop and sight see. I felt very safe and cared about. Special shoutout to Mike who was extremely helpful including giving me updates on the weather in the different places I was travelling to, giving me suggestions for activities even outside Hanoi and generally being friendly 😁 The amenities were great - I really liked the rooftop bar and the work area (great for me who was working remotely and needed a good desk!) The rooms were spacious, comfortable bed with lots of good light. Modern but tastefully decorated. I booked the junior suite. The hotel is also centrally located in the Old Quarter which meant I was in the middle of the buzz (but didn’t get any noise in my room) and I was close to most attractions. It was also very accessible by foot and car.

The hotel was within walking distance to the famous Hoan Kiem area, so it was a short walk back to the hotel from the central part of town. It is located on the quiet street so our night was calm and peaceful. Ms. Huyen noticed our niece and cousin's birthdays and kindly surprised us with the cake at our checkout Which was incredibly thoughtful and kind. We really appreciate the staff 🙏

Everything about this hotel was absolutely amazing. They offered me vouchers on arriving for the drinks and the spa. I had some mosquitoes in the room and I wrote about that. For compensation they gave me a discount on the taxi I had booked. The staff was so apologetic. I wish I stayed longer! Ill definitely be coming back here.
