The best thing about our stay were the hosts, kind, friendly, willing to have long conversations with us despite our average levels of Spanish! They went irbid their way to make us feel really comfortable, the whole family were fantastic, they would make sure that we were heading in the right direction by sending a family member with us part of the way when we went to walk to the Pacha Mama and Pacha Tata. Mari Luz even walked us to the harbour on the day of our departure.

Set on the beachfront in Puno, Casa de Primo features a garden and free WiFi. The country house has family rooms.

I am so happy booking suggested this accommodation because I had such a beautiful time there. the view and the room is just perfect, at night from the balcony you have incredible sky, the family was so lovely and welcoming, always kind, I had different delicious breakfast every morning and even pancakes which I really missed! I booked for two nights and ended up staying four and could’ve stayed longer. I am really grateful for my time there, don’t hesitate to book if you feel tempted to go there.

The accommodation is located in the community on the opposite side respect where the boat from Puno arrives. That's permitted to be the only tourist in this side of the island during our stay. You have to consider 20 soles per person to reach the accommodation from the pier with a motorbike. Otherwise you need at least 1 hour and 30 minute of walk. The host family is amazing, Justa prepared delicious meals and joined us for a while for the walking up to pacha mama on the top of the island. Amantanì is magic, it is a rural island surrounded by the lake. Stunning scenario where to relax and take great pictures. The night sky from the house is unforgettable.

This is truly a unique place for several reasons. First, the location by the lake and in the heart of Luquina community makes it a relaxing paradise. You can enjoy spectacular views and walks in the quiet farming neigborhood. Second, Guido, Sarah and their children are great hosts, very kind, touchy. It was a pleasure to spend time with them!! We very much enjoyed a joint walk with Gina to Miradoro and a scent of flowers with little Ema. I would recommend you make sure to set your expectations right before going here - you will be a part of the family for a few days and this is a gift you cannot pay for. In my opinion this is not a partying destination, I cannot imagine a noisy group of tourists coming here. But I might be wrong. Also worth to mention that if you do not have 4x4, you better walk down the hill otherwise you must stay forever. But surely this would not hurt.

Uros Titicaca Lodge is a must if you are wanting to do a homestay, experience Lake Titicaca, and just slow down. It is located away from the other touristy accommodations on Uros Island (about 20 minutes from the port by boat) so it is very serene and tranquil. You'll see the occasional boat go by, but the only people around are the other guests. I loved having my own deck to just relax, read, and take in the surrounding beauty. Ivan was a wonderful host. He offers a couple of boat tour options where you can experience how local families are living and sustaining themselves on the lake. A hearty breakfast is included, with lunch and dinner available at an extra cost. The food was delicious. I wish had booked an additional night!

Located right in front of Titicaca Lake, Titilaka boasts chic decor, an on-site restaurant with regional and international cuisine and rooms with free Wi-Fi.

This is probably one of my favorite hotels I have ever been to. The staff is always here to help and are very professional and well trained. The hotel and amenities are really beautiful and the location could not be better as the hotel is right on lake titicaca facing isla taquile. The food was good and all the little additional attentions were appreciated (5pm service with delicious cocktails or wines to be enjoyed near a brasero outside or inside, after dinner tea service, welcome drinks…they were too many to list !)

Amazing place and position. In our view a much nicer place to stay on the lake, much more in nature. Run by a lovely family that are so helpful.

The property was amazing - the view from our room was incredible! The hosts, Everth and Mama Theodora were so accommodating. They both went above and beyond to ensure that we had an amazing experience. Would give 11/10 if I could!
