This was an incredibly pleasant stay! The hosts took care of every detail, from organizing a taxi and boat transfer to helping us reach the place smoothly. We were in constant contact with them, which made it much easier to find our way in a new place. Dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious, and the location itself was truly unique. It’s an experience we’ll never forget. We highly recommend staying here, the hosts are wonderful people who put their hearts into making sure everything is perfect. The whole family has welcomed us warmly and did their best to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The breakfast was big and very delicious! The owner took time to tell us about their habits, life and floating islands. What is more they arranged a free transfer to the island for us as well. We will have the best memories of the family and this place. I highly recommend it!

Loved everything about this place! While it is rustic and it gets really cold at night, the hosts were available for all our needs (late dinner, hot water bottles in bed, etc.) and they were so great with the kids! Our kids also loved staying on the small island. Would definitely recommend this place!! Thanks for the great experience!

First of all, we did a long research on choosing the right stay at the Uros community. There is so many places that don’t belong to real Uros anymore. Walter and his family are amazing hosts. He build the island with his dad. For us he took care of everything. Special food requests, pick up from the train station and also transfer to the airport. His transfer services have a really fair price. The boat pick up, and a tour on a traditional boat are included. The communication with Walter works really good. Ge also speaks some English. We had really hot water and were able to use the heater inside the room whenever we wanted. Everything is very clean and neat. With Walter and his family you will have one of the greatest experiences at the Uros community!

We stayed only one night, coming from Copacabana, but we would have loved to stay longer. Leonardo organised us a taxi from the port to the private pier and picked us up with his boat, although we arrived quite late. His wife Lina welcomed us with a nice dinner. The next day we rented their kayak to have a look around the Isles and relaxed on the Isle. The room had a huge and comfortable bed with a view over the lake, the shower was big and had warm water and they gave us hot water bottles in case we got cold during the night. They both do beautiful handicraft work. We would come again.

Very well organized. We arrived rather late and departed early which was not a problem. Manuel organized all the transportation from and to the bus terminal for us. He also showed as around by boat and brought us to Puno and back to the island anytime we wished to. The room was very spacious and nicely decorated with a great view of the lake. Manuel always responded quickly to our messages. He always available and very friendly.
