Do your boat ride on the Argentina side.

Do your boat ride on the Argentina side. They take you into the devils throat. Do both sides. In Brazil make sure you see the parque des aves (bird park) as well. So well done and such a great selection of birds. You do not need a tour for the Argentinian side if you are in puerto Iguazio (Argentine side). Just catch the rio Uruguay bus 7000 pesos each way. Getting to Brazil from there is harder. We opted for a taxi 70000 all day. He was waiting for us at the exit. We walked from the Brazil iguazo falls to the bird park - very close. You can get buses to the Brazil falls at the bus terminal in puerto Iguazio. They cost 9-10,000 pesos. Remember the bird park is very close to the falls park exit. The bird park shuts at 4:30 pm and you will need 1.5-2 hrs there so go to Brazil early in the morning. Last thing - if you have a choice of days try to make sure you do Brazil on a sunny day as you have more opportunities for the amazing rainbow shots.

We spent 2 nights on the Brazil side and 2 nights on the Argentina side. Perfect! We stayed in the National Park on both sides. Perfect! Expensive, but Perfect! When we saw Victoria Falls last year we spent 5 nights on the Zimbabwe side. Not recommended. Two nights on each side is the way to go. Unfortunately, since waterfalls are on rivers and rivers tend to define political boundaries, getting from one side of a falls to the other usually means crossing national boundaries.

If your're short on time just do Brasil side.

If your're short on time just do Brasil side. Argentine side has many more trails etc, and is much more expensive. If you have time , its worth seeing both. a lot of the "trails" on Argentine side are metal bridges over water. The border crossings take time

Amazing, brilliant walkways that get you close to the falls.

Amazing, brilliant walkways that get you close to the falls. Stunning views. Make sure to book. If you can - book the boat tour as well - you get up close and personal to the waterfall (Be prepared for a thrilling ride and to get wet - unless you bring waterproof gear!)

Great place to visit for a day.

Great place to visit for a day. You don’t need more than 4 hours to see the park. Get there early. The park opens at 8am. Take the city bus, buy your ticket there, bring water & bug spray. Take the train and see the Upper and Lower waterfalls and then head back to the city or airport from the National park. It’s super HOT so get the early to walk around.

The Garganta Del Diablo is under repair due to the flood destruction, and it may take up to 6 months or even longer. The Gran Aventura or the Macuco Safari is a must-do when you are here in the Iguazu park. The Salto Santa Maria in Brazil Iguazu is a place you would never want to miss. You can almost walk into the falls. So make sure you are ready to get wet before walking onto the bridge.

Beautiful hotel. Loved our room. Traveled with our grown daughter and stayed in one room and plenty big with a nice big bathroom. Had a balcony that overlooked a waterfall, which was really lovely. We were able to walk downtown for dinner both nights, so love the proximity to town. Hotel organized transportation to and from Iguazu Falls, which was fantastic. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Even made us to go breakfast as we left very early in the morning. Would definitely stay here again if returned.

The staff was so kind and friendly and made everyone feel included! The hostel is adorable and has tons of space to hang out and chill, which is great for getting to know other travelers. It was super comfortable and fun to chill between visits to Iguazu Falls, especially since Puerto Iguazu doesn't have much to offer in the daytime.

Great location, nearby restaurants, bus stops, taxi stands within easy walking distance. A Tienda just across the street from the apartment. Bus terminal close for easy trips to Iguazu Falls Argentina/Brazil and the three fronter obelisks. Comfortable apartment. The host brought a satchel to us, left behind while checking out, at the bus station! Wonderful service.

Very clean, comfortable apartment a few blocks from the town center. Short walk to where rivers meet and you can see Paraguay, Brazil and Argentina. In the pick-up zone for both Argentina and Brazil Iguazu Falls tours. Also, the bus stop to airport was right across the street. Eduardo, the owner, was awesome. Communication was great and he was extremely helpful and accommodating.

We were in Puerto Iguazu for just one night, and this hotel certainly met our expectations. There was an exceptionally clean pool, which we were not able to use during our short stay, but it looked inviting. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was most helpful, ordering cars and recommending activities. The property is secure and a short taxi ride to the town center and Iguazu Falls.
