    The Funicular to the Salzwelten was great but the visit to...

    The Funicular to the Salzwelten was great but the visit to the salt mine walks you to death up and down the mountain. Salt mine is a theatrical sideshow, little more than walking through mine shafts but the slides were fun and the light show was touristy. Not really worth time and money except for kids.

    Do not miss this absolutely!

    Do not miss this absolutely! The best thing to do once you have enjoyed the lake view to your heart's fill. The various audio visual shows tens of feet under the ground is thrilling and there are two massive wooden slides that are bound to give you an adrenaline rush. The cable car ride up and down the Dachstein mountains is a treat in itself. I quite enjoyed the free audio guide accessible via the official Salzwelten app.

    Parking lots provided in the apartment. Basic kitchen utensils provided. Near to Salzwelten Hallstatt & Skywalk funicular station. The host was kind to help us to keep our luggage for few hours in 1 of the apartment unit after check-out.

    - Great location to discover tourist attractions in Hallstatt and nearby towns. 10 minutes walk to city center, 5 minutes walk to salt mine (Salzwelten Hallstatt), and bus station is only 1 minute walk. - Amazing view from the garden, which is one of the best place to see Hallstatt lake and take pictures. - The room was comfortable enough for short stay, but it would be better if there’s a refrigerator. - There’s a cafe next door called Seecafe. The staffs were helpful, friendly and always smiling. The meals were delicious as well.

    The staff is very hospitable and explains the travel information thoroughly. Buffet breakfast costs an additional 15 euros per person per day. It is very close to the bus stop and the Salzwelten Hallstatt and offers beautiful mountain views.

    - The location of the property is great. It’s only a few meters in from where the bus stop is. - The hotel is just few meters away from the Hallstatt funicular which takes to a viewing platform and Salzwelten Hallstatt above. - The room was decent, had balcony with views of the mountains.
