Fabulous views of Perth city and the Swan River.

Fabulous views of Perth city and the Swan River. A cool oasis if the weather is hot and great picnic areas. Also, a very good restaurant. Make sure that you do the sky bridge walk but it does close at 5 p.m. each day. Allow plenty of time to see the Botanic Gardens where we spent all of our two hours. Many other walking and jogging tracks in native bushland, easily spend a whole day there. If you do not have a car, there is a free public bus that departs from Elizabeth Quay. Get a map of 5 separate free bus routes around Perth, available at Perth Train Station or Information Centre.

Kings Park is a MUST visit place when visiting Perth.

Kings Park is a MUST visit place when visiting Perth. Allow at least half a day to walk through the Botanical Garden and do the Tree Top walk, take a picnic and look out at the views over the Swan River and City Skyline. But if you don't have a lot of time, it is still worth a visit even if you just drive through. If you have children there are some really great adventure play parks within Kings Park that are well worth taking them to.

Fabulous, I don't think anyone should visit Perth without spending a few hours here. Especially in August and September when so many wildlflowers are out. The gift shop is fantastic, such good quality gifts on offer. Restaurant also offering lots of variety.
