Really friendly and helpful staff - they couldn't have been nicer or more friendly and really went out of their way. We had a gorgeous fondue meal Friday night and on Sat we sat at the bar, played games and drank schnapps. It was excellent.

    Loved the variety and choice of walks!

    Loved the variety and choice of walks! Take extra food as lunches are rare in the Jindabyne village centre after 2pm. We stayed at Alpine Gables where we made our own breakfasts. Dinner was available there.

    Chalet Alpina had everything we needed for a long weekend in the snowy mountains, walking distance to Jindabyne restaurants and pubs and perfectly located for hiking Mount Kosciusko and Thredbo. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the shared lounge rooms were lovely but what was the best of all was the hospitality of Nina (& her sons). She gave us great walking recommendations and cooked us an amazing breakfast every morning, nothing was ever too much for her - we will definitely be back!

    Warm and friendly staff members and very helpful as it was our first time in Snowy Mountains. Breakfast was simple, but good considering the price we paid. The rooms were very nice with a great size balcony and view for the lake. Everything very clean and unique decor, we enjoyed the wild photography.

    I received a friendly welcome when I arrived. The room had good facilities, including a decent-sized bar fridge, smart TV, and the usual tea/coffee making. There was a microwave available in a common guest kitchen/lounge area. The bed was comfy, and I wasn't disturbed by any noise, despite being over New Years Eve. Overall, this was a convenient, comfortable, and good value base for a couple of days of adventures in the snowy mountains.

    I booked a last-minute trip to Jindabyne at the beginning of January to enjoy the Snowy Mountains. I really enjoyed my stay at Chalet Jindabyne: the owners were so welcoming, the accommodation clean, the hotel quiet (last days of summer booking), and the breakfast fulfilling. The parking was easy to get in and out, and the fridge in the room was a plus I didn't know I needed! I got to talk with the owners during breakfasts and was recommended a few hikes that were totally worth it! I will come back for sure, it felt like home!!

    The property was clean and comfortable, in a great location which was perfect for our getaway to the Snowy Mountains. It was very quiet and private and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and the coffee pods were appreciated! I would definitely stay here again.

    The breakfast was really good. Easy to access and good variety of food to prepare before exploring the mountains. Would be happy to go there again when visiting the Snowy Mountains in Winter. The rooms were simple and clean and had enough space to put our clothes and snow gear. Had a wonderful time. Highly recommend.

    Perfect location with view overlooking stunning lake Jindabyne and within walking distance to all bars restaurants and shops. We stay here annually during our ski trip, and love the facilities which include the restaurant, bar with overhanging snowy mountains decor, pool table, darts and heated pool. The 2 bedroom apartment is spacious clean and warm, with all the comfort of home, which includes a double undercover parking. The staff are always friendly and the atmosphere here is fun & relaxing.
