A Memorable Family Getaway – Exceeded All Expectations! Our recent stay at king Edward was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and attentiveness of the staff made us feel right at home. Traveling with family, including young children, can often be challenging, but the team at king Edward went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and happiness throughout our stay. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and tastefully decorated, providing a perfect blend of luxury and comfort. Situated in a prime location, DOWNTOWN TORONTO offered easy access to local attractions, making it the ideal base for exploring the area. Whether we were venturing out for a day of sightseeing or simply enjoying a leisurely stroll nearby, everything we needed was within reach. In conclusion,HOTEL exceeded our expectations in every way possible. It’s a place where families are genuinely welcomed, and every effort is made to ensure a delightful stay. The hotel has a very nice standard all around. The beds, pillows and duvets were exceptionally good. The complementary concierge service was super nice and handy, and surprisingly flexible even though we ended up ordering it last minute almost every time. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The wifi was terrible in our room at first but we just called reception and the sent a technician that fixed it right away. The rooftop pool area was really nice too, although the area itself is rather small they kept it non-crowded and relaxing the two hour time slots guests had to reserve in advance. The gym was really nice, it was actually a real, full equipped gym and tennis courts, not like a lot of other hotels that claim the have a gym only to find out it's some dark corner of the property where they placed some machines. One of the days the rooftop bar was closed due to a supposed storm that never came, so the restaurant on the 2nd floor provided extra pool bar service since the weather turned out nice, which they actually did better than the normal staff working the rooftop bar, even though they had to bring it from the 2nd to the 28th floor. The female head waiter from the 2nd floor restaurant deserves a raise in general. She just connected well with everyone. So bravo! All in all a really enjoyable stay.

    View was great.

View was great. Just one note, if you are planning to take the subway to the CN tower you have quite the walk. Mind you, it is all indoors except for the last 300 meters. For an elderly person it is quite the trek.

Be sure to buy your tickets online, in advance of the event. The ticket holders line is long and up top people will also be there too. It's in the center of town and it's a nice building, equal to 144 floors and you arrive in less than a minute (58 seconds) but it doesn't feel like it. A couple of us visited on a warm August day and it would be better at cooler and less crowded times of the year. I'm glad to see it.

Backpackers beware - there are no lockers and some strict rules to get in. It's understandable that they would restrict certain items, but not customer friendly to not offer storage (they offered me to throw my items away if I wanted to enter).

Always great to visit, but I find it's getting very expensive now. Again, a trip to the top and dinner in the rotating restaurant is a must for any Canadian, let alone visitors. The view is beyond compare. If you have a strong heart, hanging off the edge is something different. If you're an aviation buff, watching the Canadian International Air Show on Labour Day weekend, from the tower, is a whole new perspective on the skills of the performers. Can't look down on The Snowbirds from anywhere else!! I've done this three times, and it really is an experience! This place never gets old.

The views from the revolving restaurant are fabulous!

The views from the revolving restaurant are fabulous! I am gluten free, so had a limited menu me to be honest. Restaurant is very expensive with a minimum spend per person of around $75.00, do be prepared to spend a small fortune for dinner if you visit. Food was OK, I would not say it blew us away and we did not eat most of it due to our meal being far too rich for our palettes. Staff are fantastic!

I attended a conference at the Hotel and would highly recommend this venue for such events. Staying at the same property offered obvious advantages but it also came with unexpected pleasant surprises including an amazing view of the CN Tower and Lake Ontario as well as access to some great spots for a mind-clearing walk. The staff are.well above par and super efficient. Room service was a tad too dear for my liking as the added fees basically doubled the cost of most items but the quality never disappointed.

The location was fab, 10min walk to the CN Tower and everything interesting. Directions and access to location was very clear to both the apartment and separately to the parking (paid extra 40 dollar per night for). Owner is very forth coming with responses to queries. The cost fornthe apartment was quite high for what we got, but assume this was due to the Film Festival that was on as all hotels were high costed.too.

The location of the apartment was ideal for central Toronto. It was very close to Union Station and Scotiabank Arena as well as the CN Tower. All of which along with the lake could be seen easily from the apartment. The apartment itself was very clean and comfortable and the host provided plenty of extras to make our stay comfortable such as toiletries and coffee etc.

My stay here was perfect. The apartment had everything we needed. The roof top swimming pool had the most beautiful view, with the view of the CN tower. The Sonder App was a really cool and efficient feature, had all the information we needed during our stay and a 24hr chat box incase we needed to talk to staff. There is a supermarket/pharmacy just downstairs which came in handy and was convenient.
