Glenbow Museum

This museum brings together art and cultural history. In its permanent exhibitions you’ll learn about the traditions of the indigenous Niitsitapi people of Alberta: from their decorative tipi tents to story robes – pictorial tales painted onto bison hides. Meanwhile, 19th-century paintings by Paul Kane and Cornelius Krieghoff detail the changes that came with frontier expansion.
