Good location, friendly staffs

A very nice hotel at a perfect location. Great roof-top bar, excellent breakfast, extremely kind and helpful staff. Construction works in the vicinity are not disturbing, Would stay again without any hesitation.

The location is good, close to the old town and the University of Basel. We can see the old town gate Spalentor outside the room window. It's easy to walk to the main attractions in the old town or take the tram. The reception staff are very welcoming and the hotel provides free water and fruit at the counter, as well as luggage storage services. The hotel takes its guests very seriously. The room was bright, clean, quiet and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious, we were very satisfied.

The receptionist are very kind and the hotel do it's best to let you feel relaxed while joining your stay there. Thank you!

The considerate design of the room towards the traveller and comfortability. Location of the hotel is walking distance to the main train station and close to nice restaurants. Also, loved the written message on the mirror. Nomad again without hesitation!

This hotel offers ultimate luxury from start to finish. The style is traditional, everything is impeccably maintained, and the entire place is spotless. The staff were exceptional, always greeting us with a smile and being incredibly helpful and accommodating. The food was delicious, the cocktails were perfect, and the breakfast, cakes, and other treats were outstanding. Our room was extremely comfortable and very quiet. Every piece of furniture and every detail had clearly been thoughtfully considered and was in perfect condition. They provided robes, slippers, shoehorns, an umbrella, and more. The welcome treats included fresh fruit, chocolates, and a little Eurovision-themed cake. In the evenings, they tidied the room for turndown service, closed the curtains, and neatly arranged our belongings. The corridors were carpeted with a thick central runner, which meant we never heard anyone passing by, even though the hotel was fully booked. We were also given a jar of hotel jam to take away with us and we can't wait to try it. If you’re considering this hotel and can afford the price tag, you will not be disappointed. Book it.
