It is between two main streets, so never completely quiet, but following our request for a quiet room we were given one above the garden, which was not too noisy. Our room was generously sized. Breakfast was excellent. We were very close to all the old town restaurants and shops. The pool table and foosball might not interest everyone, but they were a great hit with us (Grandpa, Grandma and grandson) in our down time. The ladies working on reception were so friendly and offered us help with parking and also recommendations of places to visit in the city. Our room was really nice, clean, and modern and the bed was really comfy. The hotel was literally across the road from the city gates. We were only a 5 minute walk from a local bakery to get breakfast. Basel was also absolutely beautiful!
