It’s a lovely boutique hotel in a great location. One of the rooms that I booked had unobstructed view of the lake which is awesome. The courtyard and terrace are a good place for gathering for those traveling in bigger group. All staff members of the property are pleasant, welcoming and helpful. The two ladies serving breakfast were superb in customer service; they cooked some veggies specifically for me upon knowing my dietary needs.

We are from Colombia and had a wonderful stay at Magnotel Guilin. The location is excellent — close to shops, restaurants, and the main attractions of the city. The hotel’s location is excellent, right in the city center, with Gunanmen and Rong Lake just outside the door. The decor style is truly exceptional, featuring a predominantly wooden tone paired with a black-and-white design that is both simple and sophisticated. The first-floor lobby doubles as a café open to the public. The 24-hour online concierge service is particularly attentive, and the smart voice-controlled room management system is incredibly convenient. This hotel is highly recommended for a memorable travel experience.

This hotel has become my new standard for future ratings! Everything was perfect - the breakfast was healthy and delicious and the room was amazing with incredible views on the river, the city and the incredible mountainous landscape around it. It also had great facilites - terrace, bath, clean and well equiped bathroom and shower. But the best of all is the staff - I cannot be grateful enough for all the help they provided in helping us get the best from our visit to Guilin. These are kind and wonderful people that should be a role model for all hotels in the world. I would like to thank everyone from the staff for their hospitality, we will never forget you! Guilin is magical on it's own, but you made it even more so! Warmest recommendations to anyone considering to stay here - you will not regret it!
