    Location to centre of town and West Lake was good, plus the hotel is situated right outside exit C3 on the line 1 / 2 metro, and a direct line from Hangzhou East railway station. Loads of places to eat very nearby.

    The hotel is close (15 min walk) to Hangzhou East Railway Station, making it ideal for early morning travellers. The subway is also conveniently located making it easy to get around the city. The area has developed quite a bit to include clothing shops and restaurants nearby.

    Walking distance to Ding'an road metro station, which is on the same line as Hangzhou and Hangzhou East railway stations, if you plan to travel to other places via high-speed rail (we came from Suzhou and also spent a night in Huangshan). The staff were helpful and gave recommendations for sightseeing. Walking distance to Xihu (West Lake) and Hefang Road which are added bonuses. The room was quiet. I believe you pay for what you get - wasn't the best hotel I have stayed in, but it was cheap and convenient for our 3 night stay.
