Mount Qingcheng
Encircling the city of Chengdu, this towering Taoist mountain range is a hiker’s heaven with 36 peaks to conquer. Front Mountain features numerous ancient temples which were once a place of pilgrimage. 15 km away is Back Mountain, a nature reserve with tranquil scenery and dramatic views from Five Dragon Gorge.
