Manuel Antonio Beach is a stunning, sandy beach with beautiful views. It can be a bit crowded, but if you want a quieter experience, I recommend heading to the beach right after the park opens. Lots of monkey business here ! I could have watched the monkeys all day long at the trail head of Catedral Punta. Please note: Catedral Punte trail was closed for repairs, while we were there. Which was one of the main reasons for going to this park, was to hike that trail. The park was still amazing and worth the time it took to get there. Suggest going on an early tour to see the most wildlife. Also, may need to book in advance because time slots sell out. We were happy to see more than one species of monkey as well as sloths. Beautiful beaches to swim in, warm waves, & very fine sand. We were happy to have a towel to remove all the sand. Yoi cannot bring your own food. Suggest skipping the loop at Punta Catedral since all the overlooks were roped off with caution tape.Guest review byElinor - 10.0
