The location is fantastic. Great mix of primary rainforest, secondary rainforest, pasture and gardens, and a good network of tracks through it all. Freedom to wander the tracks by yourself or with expert, reasonably priced guides. A three day stay wasn't long enough to do it justice.

We enjoyed a two-night stay here, my wife, son and I. We love the rustic aesthetic of these kinds of wood cabins. This one seemed to have been built fairly recently, as all of the interior finishings were new. Everything was very clean and comfortable. We slept well. In the mornings the howler monkeys came passing through the mango trees around the property. The setting feels remote but it's only 5 minutes drive into town where there is everything you need. Grocery stores, restaurants, pharmacy, bank, gas station, etc.. 15 minutes drive to Llanos de Cortes waterfalls for a swim or 25 minutes drive in the opposite direction to Miravalles Volcano. Wi-Fi worked well, host was helpful. All good!

    Very comfortable accommodation in the midst of a working cattle ranch in the vicinity of Palo Verde National Park. The hotel is surrounded by wet lands lagoons making it a good for birdwatching. Our suite was elegant and comfortable. Staff were courteous and helpful. Dining was excellent for the venue and delicious offerings.
