Amazing museum and magnificent Architecture. A must visit.
Amazing museum and magnificent Architecture. A must visit. It has about 14 million items on the display. The museum covers so many things from zoology to mines, minerals, and history. Very interesting and even kids enjoyed it. It is best if you take the elevators to the top and then keep walking down while you look at all the items exhibited. The view from the top is amazing. The museum building on the outside in itself is magnificent and you get the best view of the Wenceslas square and the museum building on the exterior during sunset. Look for the schedule and Tickets online in advance before you plan your days. On somedays, you can visit the museum free of cost. We spent some 3 - 4 hours in the museum, and it was totally worth it. There is also an extension of the museum in the new building and a children's museum. However, we didn't visit those.
