We were in Zdar for our annual visit with friends who live there. We couldn't get our preferred Airbnb so we booked at the HUL -- a place we'd noted on our previous visit. It will stay on our preferred list since it was such a positive experience on many levels. The rooms, baths, and breakfasts were very satisfactory and stress-free. The staff was professional, helpful, and kind. The lunches and dinners at the co-located Poppet were excellent ways to learn about the local cuisine. The location in the heart of the town makes it walkable to much you'd want or need in Zdar. It even has a fine long view of the Zelena Hora, Zdar's signature site.

Kaple svaté Markéty is a recently renovated guest house in Žďár nad Sázavou where guests can make the most of its garden and bar. Spa facilities is available for guests.
