Everything was just perfect. The staff was incredibly helpful, friendly, helped every step of the way. The view from the room is great. Usually hotel breakfasts aren't very nice, but that wasn't the case here. The breakfast was excellent. Fresh food of excellent quality. Everything was very enjoyable, really want to come back.

The hotel is located in the embassy area, on a quiet lateral street, back to back with the garden of an Italian restaurant, Santini (which we visited twice during our 6 days stay). Being close to the castle and also 5 minutes away from Charles Bridge the location is really marvellous. We had a junior suite that satisfied our needs perfectly, being a family of three. Excellent stay and a marvellous breakfast. Very good clasic pancakes with sweet sour cream. Altogether, a place to return to!

Prague Castle

There’s more to Prague than pilsner lager. Not your average beer garden, the illustrious grounds of Prague Castle welcome thousands of ale enthusiasts for this yearly celebration of Czech microbreweries. Entrance includes a programme, souvenir glass and all the beer you can drink. Na zdraví (cheers)!

Plan a whole day and take your time soaking in the history. There are good little cafes tucked into side areas of castle. Wait for cathedral to have opened and line to decrease before trying to enter. Enjoyed the beautiful gardens. Exit through the gardens and walk back downhill into city for great views and less crowded paths.

There is no easy access for people with issues with walking! The ticket and information office should be somewhere near the entrance rather than at the end of the castle! Hence, the design, heritage, view, and the cathedral are worth exploring. Be aware that you need 3 to 5 hours to see everything!

Impressive group of buildings on top of the hill with fab views over Prague. Recommend U Pivrnce Hradčany for lunch: Good beer and traditional Czech food. I had Bohemian dumplings with beef goulash and homemade potato pancakes - Excellent! It's set back a bit from the road in a courtyard at Hradčanské nám. 60/12, 110 00 Praha 1-Hradčany, Czechia, so is perhaps a little less crowded than other places. Loved it for our relaxed, unhurried lunch in the sun.

The climb up to the castle isn't too bad, if you're in reasonable condition. The hotel man made out it would be super steep, but wasn't bad at all, especially if you go earlier in the day before it gets too warm. The castle itself isn't as spectacular as you might expect, compared to some English castles, but the cathedral and basilica are worth a visit. The "Golden Mile" is a street with small houses: some have a few interesting museum-type artifacts and history, amd some are just shops, ranging from handmade jewelery to more touristy stuff. The audio tour may be worthwhile if you're particularly interested in learning the history (there are a few information boards with English translations, but there are a lot with no English or no information at all). Bear in mind they need CASH as a deposit for the audiotour machine. We had none so couldn't get one.

The staff were friendly and very welcoming, received a glass of Prosecco on arrival which was a nice touch. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. There was a wide variety of food available at the buffet breakfast. The hotel is located right beside Prague Castle and a 15 minute walk or short tram ride away from the centre and old town square. The hotel can organise site seeing trips for you and also arrange transfer to and from airport. We throughly enjoyed our stay here and would return again on any future trips to Prague

The hotel is on a quiet street and square near the Waldstein Palace, just between Charles Bridge and Prague Castle. The rooms are quite spacious (as for Prague), there are inside bar and restaurant serving Italian cuisine. Easy breakfast with a nice bonus - fresh orange juice. The location and staff here are deserve 5+, but everything else falls short of 5*, furniture, renovation, linen - everything is a bit worn. Nevertheless, the overall impression from a short stay is positive.

It's very close to the Old Town, Prague Castle and other popular sights, so I can easily go for a walk on Charles Bridge in the early morning, and of course in the evening too. Unfortunately, my flight from Helsinki to Prague had a short connection time, so my baggage got lost, but the manager Adela, and the excellent staff Teresa, did a great job and I was able to get it back the following evening. Che ottimo a me.

The host, Michal, was the nicest person we've met, always responsive when needed. He helped us a lot with all questions. The apartment was big, bigger than the photos show. The location was perfect, just a few minutes from the Prague Castle by walking and located in a really quiet area. We stayed for 4 nights and really enjoyed it. The hotel, although quite large, is very pleasant. A great view of Prague Castle from the window, underground parking, a spa, and a Prague Pass upon check-in are just some of the amenities. The Grill restaurant on the second floor serves excellent food. I highly recommend it for your stay in Prague. We stayed in a premium suite which was very cozy and comfortable.

Everything, I would say. The facilities were renovated. We got upgraded to an executive room which we appreciated. Staff members were cordial and helpful. Breakfast was great and starts early, which it helps if you need to catch an early flight. They allow you to prepare sandwiches to take with you for lunch right outside the breakfast room, which I’ve never seen anywhere else. Tram right outside the hotel takes you everywhere. Walk to the Prague Castle is possible, so peaceful and safe. We would love to come back.

To make the most of the local culture go by foot, Prague Airport Transfers offer free walking tours to transfer customers, however be mindful that Prague Castle is a good hike uphill but well worth the visit especially for the views over the city. Local beers are a must try and much less expensive than imported brands. If using the Metro system, be sure to validate your ticket.
