Hotels near Strahov Monastery, Prague

Old building, incredibly well kept and modernized. The room (a studio) was very large, nicely put toegether, with a comfortable couch and armchairs, coffee table, desk and a little corner with tee and coffee. The upstairs bedroom was cozy and warm. The staff were friendly and ready to help with anything. The breakfast was beautifully presented and delicious. The location is up the hill, just a stroll to Loreta and Prague Castle. Just around the corner is an alley taking you to the most amazing views of Prague. Definitely worth the visit and I will be coming back.

The staff were very kind on arrival and even offered to help me find the hotel as i was arriving late at night. I was also kindly given an upgraded room for my stay. The breakfast is incredible with plenty of options to pick from, including vegan and vegetarian ones. I especially liked the french toast and the cheese selection. The restaurant is also very beautiful, you can dine with a lovely view of Prague. The room I stayed in was spacious and very comfortable. It had a very romantic medieval feel to it, i had the time of my life. The hotel itself is situated in a very good location - in a slightly more distant part of the historical centre of Prague. You can very comfortably reach most attractions and sightseeing spots on foot, while also being in a relatively quiet part of town, away from noisy crowds. (Do note the hotel is at a higher elevation compared to the rest of town so it may be a bit difficult to reach on foot, but it's well connected by tram to the rest of town.)

Loved the underground parking for our motorcycles. Perfect spot, close enough to walk down the hill into town, but far enough away that it was really quiet to sleep. Perfect position in the city to leave the next morning and ride to Berlin! Great spot, and perfect lounge for our "check in beers"!

Clean, warm, antique room. It is easy to get to the hotel late in the evening after working hours. Quiet and beautiful place. Good breakfast. Friendly and attentive staff.

It was a delightful surprise to spend a night here. At first, the receptionist seemed rather cold and distant, but I later understood that it was simply her professional style. My room faced the downtown area, offering a fantastic view. The space was large and bright, with high ceiling and two big windows. Thanks to the double glazing, the room was perfectly quiet despite the central location. From the street below, many tourists stop to admire the building, and it truly feels like a privilege to be staying inside. Breakfast exceeded my expectations—generous, varied, and delicious. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends visiting Prague.

Very nice hotel with superb amenities but walking distance to Prague 1 (main attractions) is around 1.5 km
