We stayed at this hotel as a family. We liked absolutely everything: the room was spacious and clean, the view from the window was of the mountains, the staff was friendly, and the breakfast food was varied. I also want to mention the hotel's location! The hotel is very close to both castles, the lake, and the Bavarian Kings Museum. In front of the hotel, there is a horse-drawn carriage that takes visitors to the castle.

The staff is extremely friendly - everyone greeted us or even did some small talk. From the cleaning staff up to the manager. The gym and spa area is very clean and well equipped incl a great view to the mountains. As, I am pregnant, I was amazed how well the kitchen was prepared for that. I did not have to worry about eating anything which could harm my baby.

My partner an I came in the Gästehaus Forggensee because we needed calm and peace. And that's exactly what we found. This place is run with love, cure for the details, I can really say that everything is just perfect. We felt so welcomed, I could have spend much more time there! And just 20 min walking from Füssen Center. And super quick to the Castles!! Really recommended.

This is a great place to stay at! It's location is PERFECT to view the two castles! Our room was awesome; had two balconies, one had a view of the Neuschwanstein Castle and the other looked out over the gorgeous lake. The included breakfast is likely the best one we've had; lots of choices! Staff was wonderful and very accommodating. The available parking was very handy as well. We just left the car there and walked around as everything is in close proximity.
