The style of the hotel is of old fashioned opulence in the modern day. Beautifully attired, staff excellent throughout from the reception to breakfast. Smoking room and piano bar, easy to think its the 1920's. Will be coming back to this hotel

    Location is excellent for the best parts of Freiburg. The room had a great view towards the hills and the minster (Munster). The radio in the excellent bathroom is a fun feature. Convenient for the centre, restaurants, wine bars etc and a good walk to be had up the Schlossberg Tower. The parking garage under the hotel is another great convenience if you're driving there. The people were all warm and helpful. Great place.

    Absolutely spotless and very light and airy room in the hotel which was in a great location, very close to the Aldstadt/Münster and everything you could wish to see in Freiburg. The staff on the Reception desk were all lovely and very helpful. The breakfast was excellent - a huge choice of very good quality food, with a nice outdoor terrace on which to eat. We really could not fault this hotel and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone.

    Very good location, Ideal for walking to the Christmas market and Munster. The number 5 tram final stop was just across the street. Very spacious apartment including a large walk in shower. Electric shutters to close out the city despite being close to a main road we were not disturbed by traffic noise.

    The location was super. Just outside the old townhall (Rathaus). 5 minutes walk to the Cathedral (Münster) and to the shopping street. Lots of bakeries and restaurants. The hotel is very modern. Not so big, around 40 rooms. The breakfast buffé was good. Great wifi.

    Wonderful location with easy walking distances to the Munster square and market. The apartment was close to all sightseeing places as well as the main train station. We really enjoyed our deck and the air conditioner as the weather was quite warm! Very comfortable beds and very soft bedding. Great start to our European holidays 😊

    The location of the hotel was great just 5min walk to the Cathedral and the Munsterplatz. Breakfast was ok and there was variety. Restaurants and cafes in close proximity. We highly recommend Primo-markt opposite the hotel.

    Such a well kept, welcoming, comfortable and classic small hotel. The staff were all very helpful and kind, the room was very quiet, very clean and relaxing. Really well located, minutes from the Munster, walkable from the train station, close to cafes, restaurants and the river for a summer dip or bike ride (on the easy to use frelo city bikes, drop stop near by). Loved all the little touches like flowers in the windows and the breakfast was great too. Thank you Alleehaus.

    The location is amazing, we came by train and it was a 10 minute walk from the station to the apartment, located in the old town and a stroll to the Munster, market, bars and restaurants. Supermarket Aldi is around the corner. The apartment is very comfortable, clean and has all you need. Access on our arrival was easy. Seif looked after us very well and responded promptly to any questions we had.

    Staff extremely friendly. Breakfast excellent. Location - right next to the Munster - you couldn't be more central. The market just outside the hotel on Saturday was wonderful. We particularly enjoyed watching the children racing their wooden sailing boats in the water channels. A great spectator sport.
