The hotel is elegant but not stuffy. The room was spacious and well laid out, with large windows overlooking the Atocha station and multiple roads that intersect there. There was great lighting in the room, which is unusual for hotels, including good reading lights by the head of the bed. There was a nice welcome plate of cheese and jamon, and the breakfast included a wonderful spread of pretty much everything you might want. The hotel is also well-located, within walking distance of great museums, El Retiro Park, and central Madrid. I would be happy to stay there again.

Firstly we arrived there at 7 am and our check-in time was 3, the receptionist lady did everything for us and we checked in at 7 am can you imagine? This was incredible ❤️. In the hall there are cold water options and it's super good. The room design was incredible and was similar in photos. In my room there were 2 beds together but they were very huuuge it was like 2 king beds together. And the mattress was like clouds, sooo comfortable and i slept like never before. Breakfast variations were soo many and different every day ❤️. On the last day we had baggage and the hotel kept the baggage as much time as we wanted. I read some bad reviews before i booked this hotel and i was scared but EVERYTHING WAS STUNNING!!! I don't know how people can lie in such an evil way!

Desmond and Victor at the front desk were helpful, welcoming and kind. We stayed for one night in preparation for a midday flight the next day. The location was a quick and cheap cab ride from Madrid Atocha train station and easy to get a cab out to the airport the next day. The room was quiet both from interior sounds and the street despite being in a vibrant area. There were multiple comfy pillows and various lighting choices throughout the room. The space was clean and well maintained.

We LOVED staying at the Artrip Hotel. Located about 20 minute walk from the Atocha train station. Roberto was a very attentive host and prepared the best breakfast! We loved the fresh pastries and fruit, grated tomato with fresh bread, and a very nice coffee machine. BONUS: Nice fruit store 2 stores down.

Hotel Agumar is located close enough to Madrid Atocha train station to be convenient, but didn't seem effected by noise. The surrounding neighborhood is walkable, with a great blend of local vibe and tourist attractions, like the jaw dropping, El Retiro Park.

The place is clean and is equipped with the basic stuff we need. The place is very close to mercado de San Miguel and Plaza Mayor. We can walk to almost all the important sites too see in Madrid including the Atocha train station. Happy that we found that place. The host respond right away everytime I have questions and very helpful too.

We had a late train into Madrid and appreciated how close this hotel is to the Atocha train station. We also spent a good bit of time at the park and Prado museum and it was very easy to walk to both. The neighborhood is quiet and clean. It was quick cab ride over to the Palace. The room was clean, spacious and in excellent working order. Staff was friendly and we enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Highly recommend for Madrid especially if you want to stay within walking distance to the Prado.
