Santiago Bernabéu Stadium

When it comes to A-list football venues, it doesn’t get much bigger than the Bernabéu. But then, Real Madrid has always dealt in the flashy and spectacular. To be fair, it’s quite some stadium – a metallic shell coats the vast bowl like a titanium-clad spaceship, with rocket-booster staircase turrets on each corner and capacity for 80,000 hanky-waving fans inside. Olé!

Very pricey! - would also like to leave a note that treatment at the airport is subpar. Madrid was the only place we and many other friends had issues with the horrible behaviour of the clerks organizing lines and the immigration officers! it's a pity to ruin the experience because of ill equipped personnel.

I would recommend visiting Santiago Bernabéu Stadium for an unforgettable experience, especially for football fans. You can take a tour to explore the stadium's rich history, see the trophy room, and even visit the players' tunnel.

Usual superb hospitality from our friends in Madrid.

Usual superb hospitality from our friends in Madrid. Stunning stadium, excellent new facilities and an almost unbelievable view from space in the away end. One cannot fail to be impressed by the shere pagentry of the pre match show. The highlight was a giant an humorous 'tifo' of Zeus playing chess much to bemusement of the visitors. A stunning piece of modern art depicting hubris and entitlement in the new millennia. The hospitality really is on a different level. We have not encountered such hospitality since 2006. Yet the 19 year wait was certainly worth it. My 2 young friends Bukayo and Gabi were given the tradional honour of upstaging our hosts and ensuring the prospect of another holiday in gai Paris.. The catering was very good. Although the only disappointment was the famous remontada dish was sadly not on the menu that day. However, the locals had warned us in advance that ninety minutes was a very long time in the Santiago Bernabeu, yet my experience was it went by so fast. As they say 'time flies when you having so much fun' I would recommend any visitor to visit this landmark and experience the humility and hospitality of the locals..

    I was very disappointed.

I was very disappointed. I was so excited to visit this place. It cost me a lot of money to get it and the whole thing was under construction. I was waiting in a queue to buy tickets. The lady next to this window called me over and sold me a card and then told me I had to get back into line to buy tickets, by them there was no time slot for me available as that time slot was sold out. She told me to buy tickets for the next time slot which was two hours later. When I asked for a refund on the card they just sold me, tickets to the time slot I wanted miraculously were available again. It cost me 60 euro and the stadium was a construction site. It will look like this for a whole year. All she told me was that there was no grass atm as it was being replaced. They should not be charging people when it looks like this.

Very disappointed. Simply don't go - yet.

Very disappointed. Simply don't go - yet. It's a building site. In the morning there was too much reflection across the stadium to get decent photos of the seats. Very noisy machinery. No change rooms to see or press room or cup to hold for photos. Not allowed in the dugouts. Very sad and misleading. It was so beautiful when we've visited years ago. They should have set up something temporarily elsewhere. Feeling disrespected as fans. 😔

Being a Merengue for 10 years and it was my first pilgrim to Estadio Santiago Bernabeu! I’m so glad that I choose to be a Madridista: the football here has CLASS. All the fans are 100% dedicate to the game itself. We neither drink nor eat during the game. We even clap when the away team did something cool. I hardly saw anyone littering, bitching loudly, or doing anything cringing. I felt I was watching a classical music concert instead of an average La Liga game. This is the Real Madrid DNA, which, along with the titles 🏆🏆🏆, could never be bought with money and oil 😎😎😎
