Hotel and room are brand new and had everything we needed. The photos from booking were exactly how the real room.

Poemas restaurant was the best meal of our lives. I really enjoyed the thermal hydrotherapy circuit and our spa treatments. We came to GC specifically to come to the hotel after being inspired by Agatha Christie. Little did we know that she actually stayed at the hotel!! Everything was amazing.

The location is perfect to discover local “old town” life — classy architecture, fantastic views of the city, and you can find sth to eat at any time of the day. The hotel’s building has more than 100 years of history and the interior brings out the best of it. The room was on the 3rd floor and was very quiet and super cozy. Beautiful wooden doors and windows 😍 The roof top terrace has made this stay exceptional. Breakfast was delicious. Staff is super friendly, helpful and speaks good English :) I hope to be back! Thank you very much 🙇‍♀️

Very comfortable and quiet hotel. Mattresses were most comfortable I’ve ever slept on! Hotel is low-key and very quiet. Very little noise from other guests and/or outside. Elena and her niece are both really professional and friendly. Lovely welcome on the day we arrived! Fabulous shower in the bathroom which I will daydream about back in the land of no-power showers (!) We asked for a kettle and between the kettle and the fridge we were sorted for tea and breakfast things which we could eat outside on the terrace. I have chronic knee pain and asked for an extra pillow (if you know, you know!) and received exactly what I needed the same day. Plenty of space for two of us traveling. Electronic shutters (dark and cool!) in the room. Lovely unexpected gift of wine and chocolates the night before we departed. No-stress check-in AND they let us leave our stuff there and have a shower until 5pm the day we checked out. Also, the airport bus didn’t arrive the day we left and Elena answered my emergency text with offers of help as we scrambled for a taxi. Really amazing people to stay with. The hotel is a good 20 minute walk from the beach but if you head towards the Plaza d’Espana it's a pleasant walk (don’t go the Marina side). However the distance also means it’s quieter than the Playa de las Canteras hotels! You're also a quick walk away from the Marina (try Amara and Pier 19) and a longer walk or short bus ride to the old town area and you’re on the main bus routes to all three destinations. Very competitive pricing as well. No downside!

The hotel was lovely, clean, modern with lovely pool/seating area.
